Frankland River, Western Australia.

An exciting release hailing from the relatively cool climate of the Frankland River region. The low-yielding vines produce truly exceptional fruit of an outstanding quality which is hand picked then carefully crafted by Chief Winemaker, Coby Ladwig into these 650 individually numbered bottles. Whole berry fermentation took place in 50% new and 50% two year old French oak with no fining agents used prior to bottling.

A nose of dark cherry with floral notes. The palate is medium to full bodied with a wonderful combination of black fruits, chocolate and spice with fine grained tannins and rolled tobacco characters on the finish. It's layered and complex, with lovely elegance and restraint. This wine will develop with 15+ years of cellaring.
